Today's route completes our travel to Las Vegas.
We were only a few hours away, traveling through the California/Nevada desert.
It's amazing how much traffic is on I-15, but there's only a couple routes running east and west so those traveling are all funneled onto these roads.
The landscape is nothing but scrub brush for the entire route.
Eventually, we crossed the border. Goodbye California.
We'll probably pass on the Hustler Club.
Another 30 minutes or so and we approach Las Vegas.
We found our RV park just off I-15 less than 5 miles south of the Las Vegas strip.
The place looks deluxe as we enter the registration office.
The entrance reminds us of Florida parks.
We are assigned a site near the park entrance where we've watched a parade of RVs arrive throughout the day. This park has 935 sites.
There's two pools, one family and one adult only.
An 18 hole natural grass putting course.
A store, spa, restaurant and yes we saw a few slots here.
The near 100° temperature kept us in the RV this afternoon. We plan to do the strip tomorrow and have brunch at our favorite buffet at the Mirage.
