Day 6

Well, today's weather was reversed.  It started out looking gloomy and improved as the day wore on.  It was breezy off an on which kept the bay moving.  The first order of business was a run to the gas dock to get ice for the cooler.  The dock kids will gladly bring it to the slip, but I needed the exercise??

We spent the day lazing around the marina.  Here's a few shots.  Grace Marina at Elk Rapids is quite large.
The facilities are well kept and has all needed amenities.  Cable, WiFi, covered grilling area with spotless Weber grills (actually everything here is kept in spotless condition), and boater lounge.

Pavilion and Marina Office.

Harbor entrance and looking north onto Grand Traverse Bay.

The view south into east bay.

The sewing projects made the trip and were tended to between naps in the park.

A sloppy joe and potato salad and we're ready for the evening sunset watch.

And so another day is done as the sunsets over Mission Peninsula.
