Welcome

Welcome.

I created this blog to document the sights of our boating season
for our family and friends to follow.

Enjoy the tour.

First day of summer!  Glad it finally got here because we were getting tired of wearing our sweatshirts and jackets in the triple digit spring weather.

Kathy did a load of laundry this morning so I'd have clean sheets to sleep on.  Then we unplugged the house and went for a drive along the Teton Park Road.

The scenery is pretty nice.  I'll just post the pictures and comment as there is a need.

Entering the park and a couple vista views.

Driving into the park area.

Scenes from the Jenny Lake Trail.

The park service runs a shuttle boat across the lake for $15 a person.  The other parks we've been in run a no charge bus system.  These guys can't afford the gas for a Honda outboard.

Back out on the road heading north.

Jackson Lake

This is the Oxbow.  The place where all the postcard shots seem to be made.

Tomorrow, we'll pass by the Tetons again on our way to Yellowstone.  There'll be no data connection while we're camped in Yellowstone so that news will have to wait until after the weekend...at the earliest.
