It was off to Armstrong Millworks this morning. The place is like a candy store for woodworkers. This is the wintertime equivalent of a trip to the gas dock and is nearly as much cost.
Three barns full of any species of lumber you can imagine.
So I picked from the stack of 4/4 red oak for a project to make a couple of Mission style night stands.
With the lumber planed and paid for, time to load up the minivan.
Unloaded and in the house. I'll let it adapt to the moisture level of the house for a few days (or longer) before I begin the project.
